One week later

Things are going very well. He did spank me everyday for the last week. We made an executive decision to not spank the last two days and I will explain why in a second. All the spankings were hand spankings at night. I have had two discipline spankings. One was a quick and fast for calling him, "Dude" which he hates. I have a lot of toddlers/young children in my life that for some reason use the word often. He hates it and is trying to break me of using it.

The second was talking bad about myself. With all the weight Ive lost I have stretch marks and extra skin that I find ugly when my clothes are off. I had made a few comments about it and he decided the strap would help with that habit. He said he doesnt let anyone talk badly about his wife.

For the last week my ears have been hurting me but I ignored it. Two days ago I felt completely exhausted and went to take a nap. I ended up sleeping for five hours. When I woke the pillow was soaked with blood. I touched my nose thinking it was a bloody nose. It was indeed my left ear.

Matthew took me to Urgent Care. I apologized to the doctor for what I thought was wasting his time. But, I had a fever of 102.8 and after looking in my right ear he stopped, turned to the nurse and ordered percocet. He asked why we hadnt come in earlier, I thought it was no big deal. When he did look in my left ear he told us that I need to go see an ENT after my antibiotics are over. Its badly infected and he thinks I may have retorn the hole in my eardrum. He was shocked my pain was only at a seven. I left with percocet and an antibiotic. I think 3,000mg a day is a lot especially in capsule form, and its for ten days. With the pain in my ears and how the vibrations hurt, he has decided to hold off spanking for awhile, but reminded me there are other forms of discipline if I do misbehave.

So there you have it, a quick update.

11 months 3 weeks

since I said goodbye to Matthew for a year... time is coming soooo close! I am anxious, excited, nervous! Today he told me we had to discuss me backing into the garage this week. I had instant butterflies. I told him we could just forget about it since I had it fixed... he said no, we are going to do dd right and consistently this time around. Cant believe hes coming home and hes focused on our lifestyle.

We also talked about holding each other, being together and just loving each other. I cant wait!

He loves me...

I really have to work on these insecurities.

He was able to chat on messenger. I didn't tell him how I was feeling, hes in a combat zone. But hearing how busy hes been and how he thinks of me nonstop made me smile so big. I'm counting down the days until hes home. They cant come fast enough.

I love him so much.

:(

I'm just having a shitty night. I know its stupid but I just go through phases where I convince myself my husband is going to leave me. Not because of anything Ive done just because I dont love me and I dont get how others can love me. Im scared to death that one day he will wake up and realize he doesnt love me after all. Blah. This makes no sense but I needed to vent. Its been a few days since Ive heard from him and Im being insecure tonight.

A good thing: I broke out of the 160s. I bought three dresses yesterday a 6, 8, and 10. Ha! It was so weird to buy dreses in that wide of a spread but I have rather large breast still.

When he left a year ago I was 230. Today I am 158. I went from a 20 to an 8. And still going. That is a small accomplishment anyway.

Another good thing: Going back to school. Ive been accepted into the social work program.

Domestic Godess?

A friend of mine recently made a coupon binder. I liked it so much I went out and bought the supplies to make my own. Instead, it ended up being so much more. I decided to call it the “HH6 Manual.” Although I do work from home and this fall will be returning to college full time, I will also still be responsible for the home upkeep and the meals (which I am more than capable and happy to do). I made this binder in hopes to organize my day to day life a little more.

Supplies:
ð      Three ring binder
ð      Package of baseball card holders
ð      Package of photo holders
ð      Package of business card holders
ð      Dividers
ð      Supply pouch
ð      Monthly Calendar
ð      Scissors
ð      Pens
ð      Calculator
ð      Chore List
ð      Shopping List
ð      Page holders

The front of the binder is where my pouch of supplies are located. The scissors, pens and calculator are in it.

Then, I have a three ring hole punched calendar. The calendar is where I will put the menu and any appointments.

Following the calendar is the chore check list and the shopping list. The chore list can be found here on my blog, or you can email me at corkyswife@gmail.com and I will send you the word document I made. It took me several hours to make. I am sure you will have to make changes for your specific space. The shopping list is a word default. If you go into word, drop down to “new” and then type in “grocery list” you will find several templates. Choose the one that suits you the most and print it out.

After all of that is the coupon section. I divided mine into the way I shop. I am a bit weird, I don’t like the cold items to sit in the cart any longer than necessary so I shop down the aisles and then the outside of the store. My friend had her coupons divided by category to match the shopping list. Place and label the dividers the way you would like. Then put a couple of each (baseball, photo, business card) of the holders behind the dividers. Cut the coupons out and assemble in these.

Counting Down...

Counting down the days until Matthew is home. I absolutely can't wait! We had a good conversation today until I mentioned something negative about myself and he made a new rule.

We were talking on messenger. He said, "Since we are on this subject, the same goes about talking bad about yourself."

Me: "Urgh. Baby. I am not sure I can do that. I tend to say what I think and I think those things."

Him: I don't tolerate anyone talking bad about my wife.

Me: But... I'm not sure I can NEVER say anything bad.

Him: I think a good loving spanking will help you stop feeling that way.

Well, that was an interesting conversation. He is trying so hard. I know, because hes the one bringing up dd, being consistent and working on things that are poisonous to our relationship. He went on to say, "I promise I will do my best. If I slack off or miss something I need you to tell me, with no fear of reprisal."

Makes my heart happy.

I had a great weekend for the most part. I went to two concerts with friends. I had to make a very hard decision and cut a friend from my life who was very poisonous. She used me a lot, was really mean, said hateful and hurtful things to me a lot and overall was a very bad person. She got mad at a friend of hers and took a bag of awful trash and poured it under her mattress, smeared dog poop on her pillow and put nails behind her wheels in the garage. She also told me if she gets pregnant by her husband she will abort the baby without telling him. In addition to standing me up three times last week, one time at a restaurant where I had to eat alone. Then, after rearranging my schedule and cancelling a doc appointment to go to a signing she wanted to go to, she stands me up to go to a store! When I tried talking to her she screamed at me again, so I ended up just ending the friendship. Even though its for the best it was still very hard on me and Ive had a hard day because of it. Her husband and my husband are close friends and I am so worried it will affect their friendship. Matthew told me he doesnt think it will, and if he does he doesnt need him as a friend, but it was still very difficult. I am ready for this deployment to be over. I am pretty sure after the first time she screamed at me Matthew would have been upset and we would have discussed it, instead of me letting it get this far.
